Old habits die hard. For centuries, we’ve seen how people in power (read: white men) have kept marginalized groups from voting. In Georgia, this disgusting campaign persists, as Republican candidate for governor Brian Kemp is doing everything in his power (and he has an uncomfortable amount of it) to suppress voters and keep Democrat Stacey Abrams from becoming the first black woman governor in US history. This week we’re taking a deep dive into Brian Kemp’s attempts to oppress voters in Georgia, what this could mean for the Nov 6 elections, and how we all can fight back.
